There is no set age when a person becomes a "senior citizen" as it applies to benefits provided by the Federal/ State government. Certain benefits are available at age 55, some at the age of 60, and others 65 or 70. As a result many residents in their "Golden Years "are rightly confused about their entitlements. Many are missing out on the benefits available to them. When we plan to help by forming a Senior Citizen Association that will provide our seniors with the most up-to -date information available on a variety of topics including tax relief / tax benefits.

We are also concerned about the need of social activities for seniors. Stratford has an excellent facility that is underutilized during weekday mornings and also afternoons.
If you have an interest in participating in getting this Seniors' Association off the ground.
