There is no set age when a person becomes a "senior citizen" as it applies to benefits provided by the Federal/ State government. Certain benefits are available at age 55, some at the age of 60, and others 65 or 70. As a result many residents in their "Golden Years "are rightly confused about their entitlements. Many are missing out on the benefits available to them. When we plan to help by forming a Senior Citizen Association that will provide our seniors with the most up-to -date information available on a variety of topics including
tax relief / tax benefits.

We are also concerned about the need of social activities for seniors. Stratford has an excellent facility that is underutilized during weekday mornings and also afternoons.
