Road Work Project (exprct delays)

Due to the Gas Company project on Laurel Road, we can all expect traffic delays in the area.

There will be a series of road closures and detour routes. Here is the latest information as of January 2, 2018:

January 10 – March 1st Laurel Road will be closed in both directions from
Atlantic Avenue to Chews Landing Road. ONLY

January 10 – March 1st  Pennsylvania Avenue from Swarthmore to Laurel will be closed to thru traffic,

To help to ease congestion on Vassar Avenue, the traffic lights at Vassar & Atlantic and the light on Longwood & Warwick will be manually controlled by police officers.

Local roadways will be restricted to local traffic only by the Stratford Police Department

Laurel Road is closed to thru traffic from Atlantic to Chews Landing. There is full access to the Saratoga Road section (narrowed by coned lanes).

We’ve eliminated the DO NOT ENTER Signs on Saratoga Road so residents can use either side of Saratoga Road as egress.

Click on the IMAGE to LEFT, for an overview map of the intersection of Warwick & Laurel. The police are handing out this overview to people coming out of the Saratoga Section / Laurel Road.

Please feel free to share this map with your friends and neighbors.
